1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of WebBoard (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a school or organisation, you accept these terms for that organisation.
2. The Service
WebBoard is an online teaching platform providing collaborative boards, classes, assignments, a calendar, gradebook, messaging and, where enabled, live video lessons and exam recording.
3. Accounts
School-managed accounts (students, teachers and staff invited to a school) are administered by that school, which decides who is added or removed. Individuals cannot delete school-managed accounts themselves. Personal accounts that do not belong to any organisation are managed by the individual user. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including uploading unlawful, harmful or infringing content, attempting to access data that is not yours, disrupting the Service, or using it to harass others.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you create and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. The Service, including its software and design, remains our property.
6. Schools and organisations
When a school uses WebBoard, the school is the controller of its members' personal data and we act as its processor under a separate Data Processing Agreement. The school is responsible for the lawful basis for processing student data and for record-retention obligations under education law.
7. Payment
Paid plans are billed as described at checkout. Fees, limits and features are set out on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update the Service and these terms; material changes will be notified.
9. Liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Croatia and the European Union. For questions, contact us at the address on our contact page.
